Jesse's First Haircut 5-14-2011

I think this day came sooner than what my husband and I wanted it to.

When Jesse was born...he did have a good amount of hair.
2 months old
As time went on...his hair on the sides started to thin out.  The hair on top just kept growing...but his hair was thin all over.  His hair has a natural curl to it that he gets from both sides!

So here are the before pictures! As you can see...it kinda looked like he had a comb-over!

We took him to Sharkey's Cuts for Kids. This place was AMAZING!  They were so good with Jesse...but not cheap at all.  In total...'First Haircut' and one Toy and Tip later...we walked out paying $40.00 but worth every penny of it!  Here are the after pictures...ENJOY!

Mother's Day 2011

I know I have to start posting these sooner...but here they are...better late than never!

The reason why I'm a Momma!
Our day started out nice and early, as always!  I got my first Mother's day gift from my son! He jumped on my tummy and gave me a poem with his picture on it!  I can't give details on it cause its personal...not really I just have it at work and i can't remember exactly what it says.  I keep it at work to remember why I'm there...to make the cash to give him everything he wants!

After that we had breakfast with my MIL, her boyfriend, my BIL Eric , and my BIL Michael.  Yes, my husband and son were there too! My SIL Nicole was MIA but she was busy her her Mommy! =)

We were then off to Knott's Berry Farm! I remember when I was younger running around Camp Snoopy...well...now I get to do it all over again!

We didn't stay long since it was a Sunday and there are not very many rides that we can all get on or get on with Jesse.

We ended the day with dinner with my family.  It was my mom and dad, my sister and her boyfriend.  Over all Mother's day was nice...good weather...and being with my boys was awesome!

Easter 2011

This post is way over due...but here it goes!

EASTER 2011

Easter this year was on April 24th 2011.  Not only was it Easter but it was also Jesse's 6th month birthday! So the morning started...when Jesse woke up of course...not when Momma or Daddy wanted it to! Anyways, the morning started with a "Happy Birthday" song to my baby!

Birthday Boy!
So after a quick diaper change...we had the talk about the Easter Bunny! We had talked about the Easter Bunny the night before...but we had to remind him!

As we carried him to the living room...he found this...left by a very special Bunny!

First Easter Basket

The Easter Bunny not only left an Easter Basket for Jesse...but also hid Easter Eggs around the apartment for Jesse to find!
The Easter Bunny hid them really good!
After all the eggs were found...we had breakfast together and off to Knott's Berry Farm!
The Easter Bunny was kinda short!

Daddy and Jesse on a ride!

Momma and Jesse's turn!

Train Ride!

Staying Focus
We had a really good time at Knott's!  We ended the day at Hometown Buffett...we all actually got to eat dinner all together! (Thanks Jesse)

Who's your Daddy?

So yesterday I was thinking to myself...does my baby know that I'm his Momma?

As I was making dinner and we were all in the kitchen.  I had asked my husband..."Do you think he knows I'm his Momma?" I was surprised and hurt at his response.  He said something like "well he either thinks its you or your mom".  Caught off guard I said "Thanks for that comment".  I was so hurt but try not to let it get to me since we were about ready to have dinner.  Being so upset...I went for a low blow...and said to my baby..."Then you must think your grandpa (my dad) is your daddy!" After that we dropped our conversation.

The thing is...I have no choice but to leave the baby with someone else.  I don't have the money to be an at home mom taking care of my baby.  If I could, I would! I would LOVE to stay home and watch him grow up...but the truth is we can't afford it!

When I talk to my mom at the end of the day about the baby...its bitter sweet.  She tells me about his day...and I start to think to myself...I missed all of that.  Don't get me wrong, I love to hear about his day and what he did.  The thing is that I also have to think that I wasn't there and I won't see it again.  I'm not there to feed him breakfast...put him down for a nap...take him to the park during the day!

I'M AT WORK!

I make really good money for what I do.  I'm able to take my son into Babies R US and drop a couple of hundreds on anything that he needs! I don't want to leave my baby but its something that I have to do.  In all, I don't get much time with him during the week cause of my work.  My day starts at 4:45 a.m. and ends when I get home at 4:30 or 5:00 p.m.  From that time...its dinner time...clean up time...or running errands.  After dinner or errands, its about 6:30 p.m. or so.  My son goes to sleep around 7:30 p.m.  So really...I only get about an hour maybe two hours if I'm lucky to spend with him.

I know he didn't mean anything bad...well at least I hope he didn't...but I just hope he realized how much it did hurt...

On this Day...

So back in April of 2003, Oscar and I became boyfriend and girlfriend.  We have been together for a total of 8 years already and still going strong.  I try not to remind him that its our Anniversary but I always find a way.

I didn't say anything until I got home after work.  I told him...and of course he said that he remembered but didn't want to say anything.  The thing is...I know he didn't remember! He can say all he wants but I know he didn't.

He tries to tell me that there is only one date that he keeps in his heart...and that's the day that we got married. I know its just an excuse so if he doesn't remember he can say that only our wedding anniversary counts but...

This is the way I think of it...If we didn't have April 6, 2003...then we wouldn't have August 30, 2008...

~A Dodger Family~

On Saturday (04/02/11), the Pierce Family attended our first Dodger game as a family.  This was the baby's first time at a Dodger Game well outside of the belly anyways. Jesse is a very good baby...and I'm not just saying this cause he's my son! He will not cry unless he needs something.  He did not cry at all at the game.  The only thing is that he did want to nap but with the cheers of the crowd, he wasn't able to.

Although Daddy did his best to try and explain the game to Jesse...he was just more interested in looking at everyone and everything!  Its sad to say but the Dodgers lost the game and before it was over, we left!  Our goal that day was to buy Jesse a jacket for the next game that we were to attend. They didn't have any and it seemed that they were clueless about when or if they would get any this season. Not to worry Babies R US has them in stock!  Overall, great day to be at a baseball game!

Reality TV

I love to watch TV when I get a chance. Normally its after I put the baby to bed. Sometimes on a good day I can catch some TV during dinner time, if we are home. I love to watch reality shows.  They just catch my attention so much. I love to watch TruTV, MTV, VH1.

I know most of the shows on TruTV are fake...except for Cops! All the others like Operation Repo -FAKE! Do I still watch it...You better believe it! Sometimes its just too funny to pass up on!

I love to watch Teen Mom and Jersey Shore. Trust me you would watch Jersey Shore too if you had two people in the family that can act out the famous fight between Sammi and JWOWW!

VH1 is coming out with this new show called MobWives! I'm so ready for it like you wouldn't believe!  The only thing is that I am able to watch all the shows that I like...I just never get to watch them on time or completely. So it might take me more than on season to get it all in but at least I can watch it over and over again...Thanks MTV, VH1!
